On 22 March at 6 p.m., the XXXIX Madeira Music Festival presents a Piano Recital at the Regional Legislative Assembly with pianist Rafael Kyrychenko, a top-tier performer of the new generation and winner of multiple international awards, recognised for his musical sophistication, interpretative depth and technical precision.
The programme features works by Olivier Messiaen, including Première Communion from Vingt regards sur l’Enfant Jésus; the passionate intensity of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonata No. 23, ‘Appassionata’; and the orchestral virtuosity of Robert Schumann’s Symphonic Études, Op. 13.
