
The Madeira Classical Orchestra will take to the stage at the Madeira Congress Centre on 2 May at 6:00 pm for a beautiful Flower Festival Concert under the theme “Neapolitan and Italian Songs Night”, featuring the acclaimed mandolinist Ekaterina Mochalova and conductor Mikica Jevtić.
In this festive programme, Ekaterina Mochalova will bring to life a repertoire of great brilliance and contrast, including works by Gershwin, Albéniz and Paganini, as well as Rimsky-Korsakov, Khachaturian and Bazzini. A musical journey that crosses different sonic landscapes, from Iberian elegance to dazzling virtuosity, from rich orchestral colour to passionate lyricism.
Under the direction of Mikica Jevtić, the Madeira Classical Orchestra offers its audience a vibrant, intense and luminous experience, in a true musical celebration of the Flower Festival.
