The Madeira Classical Orchestra presents, on 19 April at 6:00 pm, at the Madeira Congress Centre, a concert of remarkable artistic intensity. The event will feature two leading figures on the international stage: violinist Letícia Moreno and conductor Sergey Smbatyan.
In this programme, the audience will have the opportunity to hear Leticia Moreno perform the vibrant Symphonie Espagnole, Op. 21, by Édouard Lalo. Renowned for her magnetic stage presence and the depth of her interpretation, the violinist promises an engaging and energetic performance.
Under the direction of Sergey Smbatyan, the Madeira Classical Orchestra will also present the powerful Symphony No. 5 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, one of the most emotional works in the symphonic repertoire, marked by dramatic contrasts, intense lyricism, and a compelling force that runs throughout the score.
