Arrival of Santa Claus’s Allegoric Parade

In the 2019 Christmas season, Câmara de Lobos presented the first innovative and pioneering project in RAM, through the Arrival of Santa Claus parade”. This initiative is expected to take place on December 7th, at 8:00 pm, when the Christmas lights will be turned on in the downtown area and in the center of all the parishes in the municipality.

The parade, in the style of “Disney Parade”, will recreate the magical atmosphere of the festive season. The procession, which will travel through downtown, will start at Rua da Carreira passing through Rua Padre Clemente Nunes Pereira, Largo de São Sebastião and will culminate in Praça da Autonomia, where a throne will be recreated in the bandstand to Santa Claus receive children with their requests.
