On 15 November at 6 pm, the Madeira Classical Orchestra will present an unmissable concert at the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre with the acclaimed German violinist Kirill Troussov who will perform under the direction of the well-known guest conductor Evan Alexis Christ.
The programme features Felix Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 in A major, Op. 90 — ‘Italian’. Inspired by the composer’s experiences on his travels in Italy, this symphony is one of the most vibrant and luminous pieces in the entire Romantic repertoire.
