‘Viva Cidade’ is an urban festival that features several music and theatrical performances that, over the course of three days, presents different sounds on several stages spread across the small squares and streets of the archipelago’s capital.
There are lots of concerts that start in the afternoon and continue until the end of the day, in an atmosphere that welcomes the longer days of spring.
To accompany the good music, the terraces are filled with the best traditional local snacks and drinks.
The programme will be distributed over three schedules: noon, 5pm and 9pm, and will be held in five central venues in Funchal: Rua da Carreira, Sé Cathedral, Largo do Chafariz, Praça Amarela and Praça do Carmo.
