In the Flower Pavilion, the Regional Floriculture Competition will be one of the highlights of the Festival, with the theme “Ornaments and Flowers”, an event organized by the Regional Secretariat of Agriculture and Fisheries (SRAP).
Where architecture, handicrafts and flowers intertwine, the pavilion invites visitors to embark on a sensory journey through Madeira’s gardens. The inspiration comes from the lacework of the lambrequins, the “mirantes”(viewpoints) and the traditional “Casinhas de Prazer” (small summer houses), evoking the times when people masterfully embroidered, read in the shade of the flowers or enjoyed tea surrounded by floral perfumes. This is a true tribute to Madeira’s beauty, tradition and creativity, celebrating the best the Region has to offer in terms of shapes, colours, aromas… and art.
