The Regional Secretariat of Tourism and Culture, through the Regional Directorate of Culture, presents throughout the month of February, a set of cultural and recreational initiatives, under the motto “Live jazz with all the senses”, with the main highlight being three shows .
The first is a retrospective exhibition of the history of jazz in Madeira, scheduled for January 31st, entitled “Jazz em Caminhos”, taking place at Solar do Aposento (Ponta Delgada) exhibition room. This exhibit will be open to the public until February 24th, with visits scheduled from Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.
Also, this exhibition will on display till March 24th, at Porto Santo Town hall exhibition room.
On February 4th, at 5pm, an interactive music and dance show, called “Ocean Swing Madeira” takes place in the auditorium of MUDAS.Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Madeira (Calheta).
On February 24th, the Conservatory Jazz Orchestra, will perform at 9pm, at the auditorium of the Porto Santo Cultural and Congress Center.
The concerts are free entrance.
