The MIUS \u2013 Madeira Island Ultra Swim \u2013 Porto Santo 2026<\/strong> is a prestigious open-water swimming competition, part of the national calendar for the sport, taking place on the idyllic island of Porto Santo between 23rd and 24th May.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is one of the most iconic open-water swimming events, forming part of the National Open-Water Circuit \u2013 Open de Portugal. The competition is organised by the Madeira Swimming Association (ANM), in partnership with the Portuguese Swimming Federation (FPN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held in a natural setting of rare beauty, with superb seas and unique landscapes, this event has established itself as a benchmark in the national sporting calendar, combining competition, tourism promotion and the enhancement of Madeira as a destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event contributes to the revitalisation and diversification of the tourism offering and is already a world-renowned aquatic event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
