This parade is inspired by the spontaneous parade that originally took place at Rua da Carreira, around the first half of the XX century. The participants\u2019 creativity knows no boundaries and spans from social and political satire, to traditional themes, or simple character disguise.<br><br>This parade is open to all, either locals or tourists, individually or in groups, a parade ranked in four different categories &#8211; Adults, Children, Best &#8220;Trapalh\u00e3o&#8221;, King &#8220;Trapalh\u00e3o&#8221; and Transvestites. <br>The winners in each of these categories receive a cash prize.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"819\"
