For this edition, pyrotechnics companies from three countries are competing:<strong> Canada, China and Ukraine. <\/strong><br><br>The aim is to win the trophies <strong>\u2018Trof\u00e9u do Atl\u00e2ntico\u2019<\/strong>, awarded by a jury, as well as \u201c<strong>Troph\u00e9u Madeira T\u00e3o Tua\u201d,<\/strong> awarded by the public. The votes can be cast in ballot boxes located in the Plaza Madeira shopping centre, at the Tourist Information Office in Avenida Arriaga, and also at the Funchal pier, the night of the show.<br><br><strong>Programme<br>June, 6th<br>10.30pm<\/strong><br>. <strong>Pyromusical Show: representing Canada, the company Firemaster Productions Inc., under the theme \u2018The Final Frontier\u2019<\/strong><br><br><strong>June, 13th<br>10.30pm<\/strong><br>. <strong>Pyromusical Show: representing China, the company Nanchang Fireworks Industries Co, Ltd., under the theme \u2018Flowers in Flames: The Blossoming of Light\u2019<\/strong><br><br><strong>June, 20th<\/strong><br><strong>10.30pm<\/strong><br>. <strong>Pyromusical Show: representing Ukraine, the company Dance of Fire, under the theme \u2018The Magic of the Atlantic: A Bridge Over the Ocean\u2019<\/strong><br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Madeira International Fireworks Competition comprises three pyromusical shows, which take place on the first three Saturdays in June and can be viewed, over 20 minutes, across the whole of the bay of Funchal.
