The “Festival Barroco a Norte 2026” aims to be an event of excellence, promoting Baroque music in conjunction with the various architectural elements found in the churches on the north coast of the region, acting as an important vehicle for cultural expression.
This forth edition will take place from March, 7th to 28th will once again feature musicians from the Autonomous Region of Madeira and abroad, in different instrumental formations, as well as a musician and actors, who will perform their artistic activity in the Pulpit, a prominent element in this festival. In this way, music and literature join hands so that the monuments built by our ancestors, as well as temples of introspection, can be spaces for cultural enjoyment.
The production is the responsibility of the Madeira Classical Orchestra Association – AOCM, with the institutional support of the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture, through the Regional Directorate for Culture.
