From 26 October to 1 November, Madeira will host the Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run World Championships, bringing together around 1,400 athletes from more than 50 countries.
The competition will take place at the São Lázaro Nautical Centre, on Funchal’s seafront, promising a week of sporting action and excitement, with athletes of all ages, from the youngest age groups to the Masters.
Biathle combines running and open-water swimming, while triathle adds a laser shooting element. The programme includes semi-finals, mixed relays and individual finals, as well as para-athlete events, with medals awarded across all age groups.
More than an international sporting competition, this event places Madeira on the world sporting stage, welcoming athletes and delegations from across the globe.
