Funchal’s Marathon is one of the most important athletic events in the city and attracts several hundred athletes, some of whom are worldwide references of this sport.
This event is divided in 3 races: Marathon (42.195 m), Half Marathon (21.097,50 m) and Mini Marathon (8.830 m), and there are participants from over 51 countries joining the race. It’s a great and completely different way to experience a local event, exercising and getting to know the archipelago’s capital – Funchal.
