The European Underwater Photography and Video Championship brings together the best European divers of these specialties. The event is organized by the Diving International Federation (CMAS), and the Madeira Swimming Association.
The qualifying competitions at European level involve more than 1000 teams and we expect to have representatives from 18 countries in Madeira.
The dive sites are: Corveta Afonso Cerqueira (Câmara de Lobos), Baixa do Carneiro (Funchal), the Garajau Natural Reserve (Santa Cruz) and Baixa da Cruz (Machico). These places, with such different characteristics, will guarantee spectacular images, and will position Madeira Island as a destination of excellence for diving activities.
