Annual festival held in the city of Câmara de Lobos, on the initiative and organization of the local parish council, its first edition took place in September 1993.
This event aims to show the gastronomic potential of the black Scabbard fish and to promote the fishing activity and the potential and difficulties of the Câmara de Lobos fisherman. Black Scabbard fish is one of the main references of Madeiran gastronomy and can be tasted in a myriad of different dishes throughout the festival.
