With a degree in music, singer and singing teacher, Cristina Barbosa chose, 20 years ago, to make music “a way of life”. Born in a family that lived music, very early she took her first steps in artistic activities. With her father’s encouragement, she stepped onto the stage for the first time at the age of 3. From then on, she participated and won the Children’s Song Festival with the song ” Bolas bolas bolinhas” (Balls balls little balls). In 1999, she started her professional career at the Reid’s Palace hotel; in 2001, she embraced the Banda’zinha project at Copacabana (Casino of Madeira). Her repertoire covers several styles, from pop to jazz. Among her personal and commercial projects, we highlight the Puzzle band and the original project “Personal Ink”.
