‘Festa da Alegria’ is organized by Casa do Povo and the Parish Council of São Roque, with the aim of divulging the rural traditions which are still alive in the city of Funchal.
A location for the display of livestock animals is created in the higher areas of São Roque, including the typical festival food and drink stalls with popular local cuisine.
