World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development
Following the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Cultural Diversity, in November 2001, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 21 May as the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. This day will be celebrated in the Autonomous Region of Madeira and is an opportunity to deepen understanding on the values of Cultural Diversity and to learn better about how to “live together”. Come and emerge in a multicultural event, experienced from the absorption of multicultural art and the tasting of different cuisines of the world.
