The Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicrafts Institute (IVBAM) is hosting the Madeira Rum Festival on the Placa Central of Avenida Arriaga from 14th to 18 April!
There will be five days of festival dedicated to Madeira Rum, filled with good humour and an informal atmosphere, where visitors will be surprised, with a dynamic programme of activities and moments ranging from Madeira Rum tastings and masterclasses to musical entertainment by regional bands.
Among the highlights will be a Madeira Rum cocktail competition, which will take place on 18th April, between 6.00 pm and 7pm, with guest bartenders invited by each Madeira Rum Producer.
As usual, the Festival will be attended by a number of national and international personalities who are leading figures in the world of rum, among them businessmen, distributors and rum ambassadors, who will enrich the exchange of experiences for those taking part in the event.
