The sixth edition of the Madeira Rum Festival takes place along the Central Walkway of Avenida Arriaga, from the 16th to the 21st of April. Organized by IVBAM, IP – RAM, the Madeira Rum Festival is a unique opportunity to taste and enhance knowledge of Madeira Agricultural Rum, in a series of activities and moments which vary between masterclasses, tastings, food pairings and conversations with producers.
All this certainly takes place in an informal and relaxed environment, ideal to enjoy the capital’s spring afternoons. At this event, which has been gaining more and more notoriety, and as yet, serving as a calling card of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, all of the Madeira Rum producers who sell this beverage will be present, namely: Engenhos do Norte, Sociedade Engenhos da Calheta, Engenho Novo da Madeira – William Hinton, Florentino Izildo Ferreira – O Reizinho as well as Vinha Alta. Additionally, the Madeira Rum Festival is a unique opportunity for the promotion and dissemination of its products.
