On 22 March, the Associação Barmen da Madeira will host the final of the National Cocktail Competition at the Mercado dos Lavradores, at 2pm.
The event features 22 professionals, including eight bartenders representing the three national associations: Algarve, Estoril, and Madeira. Participants will compete in two exciting categories: Classic and Flair, showcasing creativity and acrobatics in cocktail preparation.
All cocktails must feature two regional drinks as mandatory ingredients: Madeira rum and Brisa da Madeira, highlighting and promoting local production.
The winner of the national competition will have the opportunity to represent Portugal at the World Cocktail Championship, taking place in October in Macau.
