The Madeira Classical Orchestra presents a unique concert at the Noble Hall of the Madeira Legislative Assembly on 13 June at 9 pm, featuring the acclaimed Portuguese tubist Sérgio Carolino, one of the most innovative and influential figures in the contemporary music scene. In this special programme, Carolino showcases the versatility and expressive power of his instrument in a remarkable artistic dialogue with the orchestra.
Under the direction of conductor Francisco Loreto, the programme includes the Sonatas (composed by Francisco Loreto), Mendelssohn’s radiant Symphony No. 5 “Reformation”, and the vibrant Eastern Folk Dances by Etienne Crausaz.
