On 5 and 6 February, for the first time, the streets of Funchal city centre will come alive at night with music, colour and entertainment, as two Carnival parades bring together spectacular floats and costumes filled with creativity and imagination.
Around 1.500 performers, dressed in colourful costumes, and more than a dozen spectacular floats will take part in the two parades, bringing music, rhythm and joy to the streets.
The carnival allegoric parade exudes brightness, color, rhythm and a lot of samba, attracting thousands of locals and tourists alike to the center of Funchal, in a true ode to revelry.
