Wine culture has been part of Madeira’s identity for centuries. From the terraced vineyards carved into the island’s slopes to the world-renowned Madeira wine, the region’s connection to viticulture is deeply rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship and celebration. In this spirit, the third edition of Bailinho dos Vinhões returns, promising to transform the heart of Funchal into a vibrant gathering dedicated to wine, gastronomy, art and music.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 23, from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Barreirinha Bathing Complex, bringing together more than 20 small wine producers from across Portugal in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
More than a wine tasting event, Bailinho dos Vinhões celebrates contemporary wine culture by highlighting independent producers, artisanal methods and the connection between territory, community and creativity. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover unique wines, meet and talk directly with the producers, and enjoy a diverse range of high-quality gastronomic offerings in an experience that blends tradition with modernity.
