Organized by Casa do Povo do Curral das Freiras with the aim of stimulating and promoting this important regional agricultural product, this festival is an opportunity for countless visitors to taste the delicacies and derivatives of this dried fruit: roasted chestnuts, soups, liqueurs and cakes. An initiative scheduled for the 31st October and November 1st. The occasion is also used to promote a gastronomic competition to be held in the restaurants located in this emblematic parish.
