The celebration of Our Lady of Piety takes place on 28 and 29 August in one of the main temples of the island of Porto Santo, the parish of Our Lady of Piety, in Vila Baleira.
As in the other festivities in the Madeira archipelago, there is a liturgical celebration followed by lots of entertainment and food and drink stalls.
