From 12 to 21 July, Madeira will host SABOREA – an innovative project to strengthen gastronomic and cultural ties with a view to positioning Macaronesia as an international gastronomic destination.
This exchange of knowledge between the Atlantic islands seeks to develop a sustainable gastronomic destination model and to define maps, routes and culinary itineraries for subsequent promotion and marketing.
In a short time, the visitors will be able to travel along various gastronomic routes, such as couscous, chicory, shellfish, fish, convent sweets, fruit, tubers and bread.
However, this festival will not only be about food. There will be several initiatives such as the SABOREA talks, which will feature major players in regional gastronomy and will address several current and innovative topics. Among food and beverage stands and gastronomic experiences, each day of this event will end with musical entertainment.
