As a leading tourist destination, Madeira proudly joins the celebrations of World Tourism Day, held annually on 27 September.
To mark this important occasion, a variety of social and cultural activities, as well as entertainment initiatives, will take place throughout Funchal city centre, offering visitors and residents an opportunity to celebrate the island’s vibrant tourism culture.
As part of the celebrations, tourists will be warmly welcomed with special gifts upon their arrival at Madeira International Airport, as well as some of the official tourist information offices across the island.
