The Madeira Classical Orchestra will host an exceptional violin and harpsichord concert by the Ensemble London Händel Players – ‘Pearls of the Baroque’ – held at Santa Clara´s Church, on 16 March, at 6pm.
The programme includes a selection of solos, trios and quartets by Händel, Bach, Leclair and Marais, with two of Telemann’s beautiful ‘Paris’ quartets.
The artistic director of the festival is violinist Norberto Gomes.
