“(Al)Mare – Where Life Moves Like Water” takes the audience on a sensory journey inspired by the relationship between the Atlantic Ocean and the natural forces of Madeira Island.
Through dance, circus arts, set design and technology, the show constructs an immersive narrative in which movement, light, sound and organic elements merge into a contemporary and captivating language. Amidst acrobatics, floral forms and constantly shifting visual atmospheres, the performance captures the fluidity and power of nature, celebrating vital energy, creativity and Atlantic identity in a show of powerful visual and emotional impact.
This avant-garde performance, which takes place in Praça do Povo, near the Pier of Funchal, arises from the fusion of dance with circus arts, in a magical time: the iconic Atlantic Festival.
