On 23 and 24 May, Madeira hosts the MIUS – Madeira Island Ultra Swim, one of the most emblematic open water swimming events, integrated into the 18th National Open Water Circuit. The competition is organised by the Madeira Swimming Association (ANM), in partnership with the Portuguese Swimming Federation (FPN).
MIUS – Madeira Island Ultra Swim® is a sea swimming event, in the open water discipline, counting for the National Circuit of the Portuguese Swimming Federation, which will have six distances (10k; 7.5k; 5k; 3.5k; 1.5 k and 0.5k), from Cabo Girão to Funchal.
This event contributes to the stimulation and diversification of the touristic offer and is already a nautical event of world reference.
