The Clube Desportivo e Recreativo dos Prazeres and the Portuguese Motorcycle Federation promote, between the 14th and 15th of October, the National Motocross Championship. This competition brings together around 30 national and 35 regional athletes, aged between 8 and 14 years old, in the MX65 and MX85 categories.
The parish of Fajã da Ovelha hosts what will be the last event of the National Motocross Championship, a sporting competition that aims to highlight the potential of the destination Madeira, within the scope of this sport.
